A healthy diet is very important nowadays as there is so much processed and unhealthy foods available. As we all know it can be very difficult for college students to stick to a healthy diet for many reasons being it is easier to order a take-away, it may take that bit of extra time to cook a healthy dinner rather than cooking processed foods and finally it does generally seem more expensive to cook healthy food rather than cooking unhealthy foods.
1. Eat Breakfast – set yourself up right for the day ahead.
2. Keep healthy snacks available – if you have healthy snacks available, you will be less inclined to snack on unhealthy foods.
3. Drink Water – keep yourself hydrated.
4. Limit Junk Food – Try to eat junk food in moderation.
5. Take Vitamins – taking vitamins will keep your immune system strong, reduce your chances of getting sick and keep your brain healthy for college.
6. Try to eat fruit and veg – Fruit and veg will keep give you lots of energy to keep you going in between meals.
7. Drink Moderately – as we are all students we like partying but try keeping alcohol intake to a minimum as it can effect your body massively, especially coming up to exams!
